Privacy policy
How Tyren Brown's portfolio collects, uses and protects information, and how to exercise your privacy choices.
Last updated October 23, 2026
Who this policy covers
This policy covers Tyren Brown's personal portfolio at tyrenbrown.com and its preview and hosted versions. Contact Tyren at TheAnatomyofImpact@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information you provide
Newsletter subscriptions collect your email address and a record of your consent. Questions collect your optional name, question and publication consent. Book suggestions collect the title, optional author, optional name and optional note, together with submission consent. These submissions are stored in Lovable Cloud. Admin accounts use an email address, authentication credentials and session information.
The contact form opens your email application; it does not store your draft in the site's database. Sending the email shares the message and your email address with Tyren and the email providers involved. Do not submit patient details, medical records or other sensitive personal information.
How information is used
Information is used to respond to inquiries, review book recommendations, publish consented questions and answers, manage subscriptions, provide requested field-note emails and operate the site. Subscribing is optional and is separate from asking a question or recommending a book. Questions, answers and any name you submit with publication consent may appear publicly; book suggestions are not automatically published.
Optional analytics records visited page paths, a referral site's origin (not its query string) and a random identifier for the browser-tab session. It is disabled until you accept analytics, and is disabled when Global Privacy Control is enabled. Hosting and service providers may separately process IP addresses, request metadata and security logs to deliver and protect the site.
Providers and external links
Lovable and its infrastructure providers deliver hosting, database, authentication and operational error reporting. PDFs are displayed using a locally bundled PDF.js reader. Fonts are served from this site. LinkedIn, Instagram and Substack links take you to independent sites governed by their own policies; they are not embedded tracking widgets here. Your email application and providers process messages you choose to send.
The site does not use advertising pixels or sell submitted information. Providers may process information outside your state or country. Their processing and infrastructure security are subject to their own terms; this site cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention and security
Access to private submissions and management actions is restricted to authorized administrators using database access policies. Information is kept while needed for the purposes above, subject to deletion requests and legitimate operational or legal needs. No automatic deletion schedule is currently configured. Backups and provider logs may persist according to provider retention practices.
Newsletter delivery
Newsletters are sent through Mailgun. When you consent to newsletter emails, your email address and the email content are shared with Mailgun for delivery and abuse prevention. Opening and click tracking are disabled for these newsletters. Mailgun may process delivery and security metadata under its own privacy terms. Emails include an unsubscribe contact and mailing address. Unsubscribe requests are handled by Tyren; contact TheAnatomyofImpact@gmail.com to stop future newsletters.
Your choices and requests
Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or withdraw optional analytics at any time. Withdrawing stops future tracking and clears the tab's analytics identifier; it does not automatically erase previously collected records. Email TheAnatomyofImpact@gmail.com to unsubscribe, request access, correction or deletion, or withdraw permission for a published question. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. Identity verification may be needed before fulfilling a request.
Children and changes
This site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly seek their personal information. If a child has submitted personal information, contact Tyren to request deletion. This policy may be updated as the site changes; the date above identifies the current version.
